The November surprise gift was beautiful mandala jewellery. I love mandalas. I love the intricacy of their design and the beauty in their style. And I think it’s kind of cute that Amanda Reynolds used her name to create her business name – Amandala Life. Amanda and Amandala Life created mandala earrings and a mandala necklace for the November Joyou surprise gift box.

Each mandala was laser cut from plywood which makes them super light. How many times have you worn long earrings and have had to take them off because they were weighing you down? Well, you won’t have to with these earrings. You’ll hardly even know you’re wearing them.

There were 3 different designs – Lotus Mandala, Mystic Mandala and Manifest Mandala. The little tag on the necklace will tell you which one was gifted to you.

The meaning of mandala comes from Sanskrit meaning ‘circle’. The circle symbolises the never-ending cycle of life. Mandalas offer balancing elements which symbolise unity and harmony. They have been used for thousands of years in Buddhist and Hindu cultures. And whilst they still are used for meditation and to help reduce the chatter in your mind, many people now just like them for their visual attraction.
